Pittsburgh Jazz Culture River to River

Saw a sign for the "Cultural District" in Pittsburgh. Seems to narrow the downtown experience, as if there's no fun to be had on the Mon departure side.  

When I lived on the East Side of Providence, somebody financed a big Tetris game on the side of the tall Brown science library.   

How about some musical notes on the side of the parking garage at Stanwix and the Blvd. of the Allies?   Measure by measure. Surely not an original idea?
